William May – Director
Will enjoys a very hands-on approach within the business and can be found on site drilling most days. His main passion is mining investigations to which he has built a solid reputation. This passion subsequently leading to Will founding CDL in March 2017 with the view to providing clients with experienced, qualified drillers and a safer, more environmentally friendly drilling service.

Outside of work, Will enjoys shooting, conservation and rugby.

Kevin Harris – Lead Driller
Kev particularly enjoys ground source drilling and geotechnical investigation work. Kev also enjoys the challenges associated with confined space, awkward access, and mining investigation projects.

Outside of work, Kev enjoys watersports, playing pool, and spending time with his family.

Matthew Brewer – Second Man / Drilling Apprentice
Matt joined Celtic Drilling in July and has enjoyed all areas of drilling and site investigations. Matt came to us already holding a NVQ Level 3 in plumbing, including electrofusion – this qualification is of great benefit when undertaking groundsource installation.
Matt has since undertaken further training, including his NVQ Level 3 in plumbing, he now has:

- CSCS card
- Face fit mask certificate
- CAT & Genny Certificate
Matt is working towards his NVQ Level 2 in rotary / land drilling. Matt is incredibly hands-on and has a great work ethic; he possesses a broad and varied range of skills including welding and fabrication.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys family time and is also a very keen shooter.

Emily Ramsden – Company Secretary
Emily is involved in many areas of the business, including accounts, bookings, and administration. She has experience in health and safety management, and environmental management.
Emily holds an IOSH certificate in managing safely, and has experience in construction and manufacturing company management.
Outside of work, Emily enjoys spending time with her dogs and watersport activities.
